Rasberry Pi Digital Tool

I’ve been getting some of my hardware skills back with a few little projects around various micro controllers. The current project is a little digital toolbox build around a Raspberry Pi 4B. I call it the Vortex box.

I’ve got a multitude of sensors and USB devices I’m going to hook up to it, and access them through “Apps”. The case is 3d printed and I built a nifty little electron app that does the actual command/control.

The following are hardware I have here and I’m going to hook up

  • Temperature and humidity sensors
  • IR receiver and transmitter.
  • Air Quality sensor
  • Software defined radio (USB)
  • Proxmark (USB)

On the software side, I’m gonna integrate some network scanning abilities, as well as some WiFi router/VPN setup functions.

The slightly tricky part is going to get all the things I want to hook up into a portable setup. The case, I designed myself, snaps together, so, it can keep growing as well as replacing sections to accommodate add-ons and new things.
