Who is Kiera?
Software founder and multi-product operator based in Ontario, Canada. I build WordPress products and AI integrations for hosts, educators, and small operators — and I’ve been building solutions for over 25 years.
A little about me
I’ve been running my own technology businesses since 2005. For the past 13+ years, that’s meant Wiley Solutions — where I design and build software across the full web stack, with a deep specialty in WordPress, Node.js, modern JavaScript, and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) that’s reshaping how AI tools and software talk to each other.
I run several products of my own — WebSamurai, DragonTeach, and FaeHosting — and I also drop into client codebases to make them faster, friendlier, or smarter. I love the big, sprawling systems with a lot of moving parts: customer-facing apps, AI integrations, sales and marketing tools, single-page apps, and all the API glue that has to talk to each other and behave. I’ve also been a long-time speaker and organizer at WordCamps.

A SaaS LMS that automates classroom setup and grading for college instructors who use WordPress. Built from the ground up on AWS, with React on the front end.

A full hosting and server-admin platform with white-label support — software-agnostic and the engine behind DragonTeach. Node.js, React, AWS, REST & GraphQL APIs, Stripe baked in.
🧩 WordPress Plugins & Blocks
Custom React-powered blocks and plugins: a Google Sheets–backed Tables block, a Content Security Header manager, and a feedback system with html2canvas + Zapier.
💡 Lighting Distributor Platform
An integrated operations platform for a major lighting distributor — Node.js, GraphQL, React, Puppeteer, and a healthy dose of API glue and web scraping.
🛠️ Custom WordPress Builds
Custom themes, full-site builds, takeovers, and plugin development. If WordPress can be bent to do it, I’ve probably bent it.
